What To Expect
We Arrive at Your Home
We'll take time to meet your family, discuss your pet's condition, answer questions, and explain each step before anything happens.
A Time to Get Comfortable
Your pet can settle wherever they are happiest—their favorite bed, your lap, the couch, or even outside in a favorite spot.
Your pet will receive medication designed to relieve anxiety and discomfort and allow them to become peacefully and deeply relaxed.
Gentle Sedation
Once your pet is completely comfortable, the final medication will be administered. You may remain beside your pet throughout.
A Peaceful Goodbye
If cremation has been selected, we will respectfully coordinate your pet's transportation and aftercare.
Aftercare

If cremation has been selected, we will respectfully coordinate your pet’s transportation and aftercare to our local crematory, ensuring they are treated with the utmost dignity. Your loved ones ashes can be picked up at the crematory or mailed to your home within 7 business days. Numerous keepsake items are available for purchase through the crematory.

Will my pet feel pain? The goal is for your pet's passing to be peaceful and comfortable. Sedation is administered before the final medication so your pet can become deeply relaxed.

Can my family be present? Yes. Family members may remain with your pet throughout the appointment if they wish.

Can my other pets be present? In many situations, yes. Some families also choose to allow other household pets an opportunity to see or smell their companion afterward.

Where in my home can we say goodbye? Wherever your pet is most comfortable and where the procedure can be performed safely. This may be a favorite bed, couch, your lap, or a peaceful outdoor space.

What happens afterward? Depending on the aftercare option you select, your pet may remain with your family or we can assist with transportation for cremation.
